Supported platforms and connectors

RocketCheckout supports a connector-first rollout model for the main commerce platforms. The standard path is to install or authorize the supported connector, validate the store contract, confirm heartbeat or source connection status, and then enable routing.

Standard platform coverage

  • Shopify app connection with webhook and storefront telemetry validation
  • WooCommerce plugin package with SDK injection, local queue/retry behavior, order forwarding, and heartbeat checks
  • BigCommerce connector path with API credential and order field validation
  • Magento 2 module package with connector registration and heartbeat checks
  • PrestaShop module package with SDK injection, order queueing, and connector registration
  • Salesforce Commerce and headless stores through connector/API setup and SDK validation where available

Connector packages

RocketCheckout keeps installable connector packages aligned with the live connectors API so new users receive the current WooCommerce, Magento 2, PrestaShop, and other supported platform modules. If a plugin or module was downloaded before a recent connector update, download the latest package before installing it on a new store.

What connectors do

  • Register the store with RocketCheckout
  • Inject or coordinate the telemetry SDK where the platform allows it
  • Forward order and checkout events
  • Queue events locally when the RocketCheckout endpoint is temporarily unavailable
  • Clean up sent queue items so the merchant database does not fill with delivered events
  • Heartbeat so the dashboard can tell whether the source is still connected

When custom setup is needed

RocketCheckout remains a closed SaaS platform. Support covers RocketCheckout setup, SDK rollout, connector validation, recovery, signal routing, and event-quality operations inside the product.
