Performance dashboard and SDK samples
Performance shows storefront speed and SDK health for the selected store. It is driven by recent SDK telemetry and backend analytics. If there are no recent samples, the page should load skeletons first and only show a no-data notice after the database confirms no samples exist.
Core metrics
- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how quickly the main content appears
- Interaction to Next Paint (INP) measures interaction responsiveness
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) measures layout stability
- SDK timing shows whether RocketCheckout telemetry is loading quickly enough to support tracking and recovery
How samples arrive
The telemetry SDK runs on storefront pages where the connector, plugin, module, or script is active. It records performance timing and sends samples to RocketCheckout. The dashboard reads these samples from the analytics backend.
Chart behavior
Charts should cover the full selected date range through today. If no data exists for a day, the line should reflect the missing or zero value rather than cutting off early. This makes it clear whether data stopped arriving or whether the store simply had no recent samples.
Common no-data causes
- The SDK is not installed on the storefront
- The platform plugin is installed but disabled
- The selected store is not the store that generated traffic
- Browser privacy tools or consent rules blocked telemetry
- The store has not received real traffic since setup
